Raising the Standard – Episode 25: Why We Do In-Person Follow-Ups After Installations


Brandon was out to Spencer’s house to do a follow-up inspection of his recent furnace and air conditioner installation.  After just having a window unit for years, Spencer is thankful for his new AC, and is ready to put it to use!

He mentions the guys left the house cleaner than when they got there, and the installation went very well, and the installers were great at explaining what they were doing so he felt comfortable with his new HVAC system. Jeff said that BOSS really makes education a priority. Their employees love to share their education (almost too much sometimes), and make sure the homeowners know everything they need to know about their new system.

Jeff then stresses the importance of an in-person follow-up inspection after the installation to make sure homeowners are satisfied and walk through any questions they may have.  BOSS’s Comfort Advisor, Brandon came over to Spencer’s house just the other day to talk to him about his installation experience and ensure everything met his expectations.

Spencer says he loves how he gets a text when the appointment is scheduled and another text when BOSS is on the way so he’s not sitting around waiting all day wondering when they’re going to show up.  Spencer said when he got a text saying they would be there in 10 minutes, lo and behold, the BOSS van arrived 10 minutes later!

Comfort Advisor Brandon explained everything to Spencer, like the condensation pump and how to clean that out, and he looked at the AC installation, and he was very thorough in reviewing the installation.  Jeff said, for BOSS, it’s not about making a sale and installing the equipment and moving on.  From day one, they have sent a Comfort Advisor to follow-up the installation, investigate the system, take pictures, and send it to BOSS’s owner and licensed installation expert for review to ensure that everything isn’t just up to standard, but above standard for every customer.
