Same-Day Water Heater Installations
If your water heater breaks, we will install a new water heater for you the same day. So if you need one right away, we can haul the old water heater out of your home and get you a brand new one within the same day!
What to Do if Your Water Heater Isn’t Working Well
Also, Spencer asks what to do if your hot water runs out pretty quickly. If you have an older electric water heater (15 years or older), it can take longer to heat your water since the elements get corroded so it makes it harder to transfer heat to the water. If your water heater is old, you can get sediment on the bottom and it reduces capacity, which means you may only have 30-40 gallons, making you run out of warm water faster than normal.
In order to flush the sediment out, you should turn off the circuit breaker, and hook a hose up to the bottom where the spigot is, and run some water into it to clean it out and drain it outside. Let it run and flush out until you see somewhat clear water then fill it back up and see if that resolves the problem. If it doesn’t, we are happy to come out and take a look at it!
